John Lum Architecture did a great job in our home remodel, which ended 14 years ago! The time and attention he put into every detail has paid off so well, as we still enjoy and are grateful for our home, as though it were still new. He really listens well, and was able to incorporate all of our ideas, while dramatically improving our design with his own wisdom. We have also sent many friends and acquaintances to John, from remodels to building entire homes, and everyone has been satisfied. In an industry where it is difficult to please everyone, John and his crew are stars!

Actual-Size Architecture Review

Geoff Gainer is the best architect! He remodeled the main living floor of our house and came up with a beautiful solution to a challenge that another architect could not address. He works with the client to understand what was needed and the style we wanted to achieve. Geoff brings his professional advice and judgment but gives the client choices. He turned a narrow clumsy staircase into open spacious steps with easy access. Our kitchen was moved to a much bigger room that was opened up with the addition of skylights. Geoff listens to what you want, is honest and straightforward on what he thinks and works with you to stay on budget. He presented the pros and cons of alternatives, which allowed us to make the best choices. We would definitely hire him again. We highly recommend Geoff - it would be difficult to do better!

Andre Rothblatt Architecture Review

A truly excellent architect - I highly recommend Andre. Andre did a huge project for us, including a major kitchen/lower level remodel, master bedroom/bath, and entryway restructure (among other things). Not only did he do a wonderful job with the architectural plan, from vision for the overall re-structure to details and finishes, he also navigated major issues we ran into with the SF city building department and coordinated very well with our contractor. He even  got nice publicity for our finished project, winning an award for our master bath and getting the kitchen featured on the Ultimate Kitchen Show on The Food Channel and an article in Inspired House magazine. Andre stuck with us through all of the challenges of the project, never missed a detail or deadline and always went above and beyond the call of duty. It would be difficult to find someone with a better combination of vision, experience, and commitment to work with in SF.

A Talented Architect Review

A talented Architect and an Artist, Andy designed and transformed our Master Bathroom and Closet into a work of Art. He worked with us through every facet/faucet of the design, giving us several design options to choose from, developing the chosen design and assisting us with finish and fixture selections. We are so pleased with using an Architect of Andy's caliber, nothing was left to chance or the whim of the contractor during construction. Andy has it all - he not only displayed expertise in design, but in construction as well. Every aspect of the construction was thoroughly detailed and specified in the plans and documents. Andy dealt with the building department and made sure the documents were immediately approved. He then was available during construction and made site visits to review the work being done by the contractor. What a relief. We very much recommend working with Andy as the Architect for your next project.

Martinkovic Milford Architects Review

Martinkovic and Milford Architects have been working on our home remodel and they have been outstanding thus far. We have been very impressed with their knowledge of San Francisco code and how to navigate through it and deliver an excellent product. Our home is a historic home so it requires someone who is well versed in the standards that must be met and the ones that are likely to given an exemption. To top it off they are very easy to work with and super friendly. I whole hardheartedly recommend them for your architectural needs because they provide a quality custom product with fantastic service.
